Camp Aldersgate’s Team Continues to Grow
In the past few months, Camp Aldersgate has added five new fulltime team members to the crew: Marshall Dickey, CTRS, Emma Blosfelds, Ashley Zeiler, Natalie Horton and Riley Powell.
Marshall and Emma join the program team as Assistant Program Manager and Program Coordinator. Marshall has a Bachelors in Recreation Management and is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, ACCT level I facilitator, Certified Lifeguard and Certified ACA Day Camp Director. Emma holds a Bachelors in Business Administration and an American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification. Both have prior camp experience and are excited to put their passion to work.
Marshall has worked in recreation and outdoor education since high school. As he joins this new role, he is looking forward to being a part of the future of Camp Aldersgate. “I am excited about being able to contribute to the positive impact that Camp Aldersgate makes on campers.”
Emma brings camp experience from spending four summers in Colorado. She says she believes in the power of camp’s transformative nature. “I am a strong believer that every child needs camp. I’m looking forward to playing a role in facilitating these experiences for all campers and am excited to be a part of the legacy of Camp Aldersgate and all the good that is does in the community,” Emma said.
Ashley joins the Administrative team as the Registrar/Administrative Assistant. She is most excited about putting her skills to use for a worthy cause: “I’m excited to work alongside a team that cares so much about its campers, and I look forward to providing a high level of service for a greater cause!” Ashley said.
Natalie has been with the team since August but became a full-time staff member in December 2022. Natalie holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance and a Master of Business Administration. As our Financial Analyst, Natalie’s favorite part about working at Aldersgate is “seeing the commitment and dedication to the mission and vision exhibited each and every day.”
Riley came on board in February as a Maintenance Technician. He holds his Associates of Applied Science and brings a variety of talent to the team with a background in IT. Riley says he enjoys the variety of projects he gets to take on.
