Camp Aldersgate Names Bobbi McDaniel as New Director of Development
Plans to help continued expansion of Aldersgate’s nationwide impact
LITTLE ROCK, AR: Camp Aldersgate is pleased to announce the selection of Bobbi McDaniel as Director of Development. Starting May 15th, she will be leading the organization’s major gifts, large fundraisers, donor relations and overseeing all development initiatives.
McDaniel brings years of experience in fundraising and business. Most recently, she worked as the Director of Development for the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance after serving as their Development Associate and a volunteer for several years. Prior to her nonprofit career, McDaniel owned and operated Argenta Limo, LLC for nine years.
Her long track record of community involvement, leadership and volunteerism includes working with professional organizations and civic clubs and serving on several nonprofit boards. Notably, she has served as board president of Arkansas Children’s Auxiliary Board and received the Arkansas Patron of the Year Award from Argenta Community Theater in 2013.
Currently, McDaniel is an active member of the Arkansas Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and Rotary Club 99, where she serves on the membership committee of both organizations.
“Bobbi’s proven experience of developing meaningful relationships, maximizing resources and her keen business acumen will be a great asset to Camp Aldersgate. She is a natural fit for our team and organization, and I cannot wait to see how she will take our development strategies to the next level,” Sonya Murphy, CEO, said.
McDaniel is looking forward to capitalizing on the organization’s growth and building upon its reputation and relationships in the state and beyond.
“Camp Aldersgate is a gem in Arkansas’s crown, and the impact goes beyond the borders of our state. I am looking forward to working with the amazing, dedicated team; including the board, staff, donors, and volunteers, to highlight and expand all Aldersgate has to offer,” McDaniel said.
