Camp Aldersgate Welcomes Ryan Miller as New Senior Development Officer
Accomplished Fundraiser to Strengthen Community Connections and Support
Camp Aldersgate is excited to announce the addition of Ryan Miller as the new Senior Development Officer. Miller joined the team at the end of May, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a deep passion for Aldersgate’s mission to create life-changing experiences for its campers.
Miller comes to Camp Aldersgate from his previous role as Donors Relations Manager for the Arkansas Foodbank. His professional journey is marked by significant achievements and recognitions, including being named Fundraising Young Professional of the Year by the Arkansas Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, participating in Leadership Greater Little Rock Class 39, and earning the Advisor of the Year award from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education District III.
“I am delighted Ryan has joined the Camp Aldersgate team, adding his experience and skills to our development department. He will play a vital role in enhancing and expanding our ability to provide life-changing experiences for those we serve,” said Bobbi McDaniel, Director of Development.
Miller holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Administration in Management and Marketing from the University of Arkansas, as well as a Master of Education in Higher Education Leadership. His academic background and extensive experience in fundraising and development make him a valuable asset to the Aldersgate team.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Miller is deeply involved in the community. He serves as the President Elect of the Arkansas Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, is a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board for the University of Arkansas Honors College, and actively participates in the Red Shoe Crew for Ronald McDonald House. He is also a dedicated member of the Little Rock Roadrunners and Arkansas Running Klub.
Looking ahead, Miller is most excited about connecting the community with Camp Aldersgate’s mission and witnessing the joy and growth of the campers.
“Camp Aldersgate is a hidden gem in our state’s capital, and I look forward to spreading the word about the impact Aldersgate has on so many families. Seeing the campers’ faces light up as they participate in once-in-a-lifetime experiences is incredibly rewarding,” he said.
