Camp Aldersgate Stands Firmly Against Racism
Camp Aldersgate was founded as a place where black and white people could worship together, then as a youth church camp for all races, and since 1971 has been a camp for children with special needs.
We do not tolerate discrimination on the basis of ability, background, race or any other trait. We stand in love and support with our black and brown community members, campers and staff as we did in 1947, as we recognize the inequities, pain and anguish that have existed for far too long.
The core values of Camp Aldersgate have always been, and remain, passionately intact as we strive to create a place of love and acceptance for all people.
