Two New Hires Expand Camp Aldersgate’s Development Team to Three
Camp Aldersgate Welcomes Samuelson and Confer
Camp Aldersgate is excited to announce the addition of two new hires to the development team. With the hiring of these two positions, Aldersgate’s development team will be the largest it has been in recent history, with three staff members, including the Director of Development, Bobbi McDaniel.
Lauren Samuelson joins Aldersgate as Development Officer. She brings with her several years of experience in relationship cultivation and sales. As Development Officer, Samuelson will foster community relations, help execute fundraising events and create strategies to secure funding. Samuelson says she is eager to get to know donors and be included in the growth happening at Aldersgate:
“I am excited to be a part of a growing development team at Camp Aldersgate. Everyone on staff that I interacted with in my interview process was amazing, and I’m thrilled to get to be joining such a wonderful team. I’m looking forward to working closely with donors and events and seeing how things can continue to grow at Camp Aldersgate.”
Gabrielle Confer joins the organization as Grant Coordinator/Development Associate. In her role, she will be responsible for researching and writing grants, as well as assisting in other fundraising initiatives and donor relations.
Confer is passionate about Aldersgate’s mission and is looking forward to how her role makes a difference. “I am excited I get to play a part in ensuring children have access to opportunities and experiences,” she said.
Director of Development Bobbi McDaniel says big things are ahead. “With a team of three, we can accomplish so much for Camp Aldersgate’s mission. Lauren and Gabrielle’s experience and skills are such an asset, and I am confident that their fundraising abilities will help us move the needle and garner further relationships with our donors and the community,” she said.
